On Sunday, November 2nd, 2025, a cultural tour is offered to visit two famous locations in Puebla State where the Dia de Muertos (Day of the Dead) celebrations are experienced with beautiful artistic and cultural expressions. You visit Huaquechula, a picturesque town, known for its history and traditions, to explore its famous altars placed in the town’s homes. Visitors are welcome to admire their ofrendas (altars), present their condolences to the bereaved and hear family stories. As well, we explore the pueblo magico (magical town) of Atlixco, where death dresses in flowers. We will admire the city arquitecture and cempoalxochitl or cempasúchitl (Marygold) flower fields, street art and murals that recreate the history of the place. There will be free time to eat at the local market for regional food for lunch.
